What changed

Assessment is now a contest between two AI systems: one generating the answer, one documenting whether the result can be trusted.

A candidate can now ask an AI model the question and repeat the answer back like it was their own thinking. It looks clean on camera, so older proctoring never flags it. Most remote proctoring tools were never built to see it.

What it costs you

A result you cannot defend is not a result.

Exam integrity, academic integrity and interview security all rest on the same thing: whether you can show what happened. Older remote proctoring watches for someone looking away from the screen. It has nothing to say about a second device, a coached earpiece, or an AI model answering in real time.

The appeal you lose

A flagged exam with no evidence trail collapses under review.

The certificate you cannot stand behind

An integrity claim without an audit trail is an opinion.

The hire you cannot explain

An interview with no identity check and no audit trail leaves the hiring decision exposed.

What Talview does about it

Three things have to be true before a result can be defended.

How Talview secures exams and interviews end to end.

Identity

The right person.

Checked at the door and again mid-session, with face verification that does not stop at login.

CONTEXT

What is actually happening.

The application, the second device, the room, named in context. Built for exam security and interview security, not a generic flag.

RECORD

What survives the challenge.

A timestamped record with every human decision logged and reasoned, for the institutions and enterprises that rely on AI proctoring and interview platforms.

WHAT YOU GET

Two products. One API. The same record underneath.

Each answers a different threat: a proctored exam, a hiring funnel that cannot interview everyone, and a platform with no identity layer of its own.

01

Alvy

AI Proctoring

Every exam, a record that holds up.

Names the application, not the behaviour.

A generic alert says something happened. A contextual flag says what. Alvy verifies who is there, names applications and devices, inside a secure browser that restricts and documents it all.

  • Continuous liveness and face match, not a one-time check at login
  • Secondary-camera view of the desk and the room
  • Secure, locked-down browser exam environment, nothing to install
  • Automated, record-and-review, or live proctoring with Alvy as copilot

Ivy

INTERVIEWING

Every interview, verified and on the record.

Screens at volume. Runs live rounds. One record behind both.

At screening volume, nobody can show why one advanced and another did not. In a live round, a deepfake only matters if found after the offer. Ivy leaves a scored, timestamped record behind both.

  • Conversational screening with real-time follow-ups, multilingual by design
  • Never poses as human recruiter; every score shows response behind it
  • Live Interview Rooms with mid-session face authentication and synthetic-media detection
  • Secure browser with code jams, whiteboarding and structured evaluations

Embedded

API AND SDK

The identity and evidence layer your platform does not have to build.

Most assessment platforms and applicant tracking systems have no identity or evidence layer of their own. Talview's runs inside yours, called per session, under your brand. Your product gains the record. Your engineering team does not inherit a detection roadmap.

  • Identity, context and record per session, under your brand
  • Live interview verification through the same API
  • Three routes in: SDK or JavaScript, LMS extension for Moodle and Canvas, or a wrapper with no integration
  • What is live today, what is conditional, what is roadmap, in writing

Before the form, the questions you were going to ask

Still unanswered? Talk to our team and we will walk you through a live session.

Is this surveillance?

It depends how you configure it, so here is the specific answer. It is scoped to the session: it starts when the session starts and stops when it ends. Consent is captured before anything runs, and you set the level per session type, so a job application is not locked down like a final exam. Talview's AI monitors identity, environment and behaviour signals relevant to integrity, not general activity. Alvy triages what it sees and routes it for review, and every decision that affects a candidate is made by a named person on your team.

How do you handle candidates under eighteen?

Consent is captured before any data is used, and it is never assumed for candidates under eighteen. In most jurisdictions it routes to guardian consent rather than the candidate's own. Retention is configurable to your policy. How the data is characterised legally varies by jurisdiction, and that is a conversation for your counsel and ours together.

Can you prove the AI works?

On your own sessions, yes. We have not published an account of Talview documenting a deepfake in a live session, or of the record settling a challenged result. A pilot is how that evidence gets made: your exam or your requisition, your reviewer, and a record of what was flagged and what was confirmed.

How is this different from other proctoring tools?

Most online proctoring tools flag a behaviour and stop there, leaving reviewers to work through thousands of generic alerts. Talview's Agentic AI names the specific application, device or environment signal behind each flag, and only escalates what a human actually needs to see.

What about exams that run where connections are unreliable?

Talview's secure exam browser and offline-tolerant proctoring are built for low-bandwidth and intermittent-connectivity environments, so results hold up even when the network doesn't.

Can this scale for high-volume hiring?

Yes. Talview's candidate screening software handles the volume, and talent acquisition software integrations keep every decision tied to your existing hiring stack without losing the individual audit trail per candidate.

Run one exam through it. Then decide.

One exam. One requisition. Thirty to sixty days. See it on your own sessions before you commit to anything larger.

See it on one of your own sessions

Thirty minutes, your exam or your requisition, and your reviewer decides which flags count.
